MANUAL
This is something you can try before knowing how to ollie. Take some time trying to balance on only your back two wheels so you can practice skateboard control. Additionally, try not to touch your tail or front wheels to the ground for as long as possible. The more you practice, the easier the next tricks will be.

| NOSE MANUAL
This is the same as the Manual explained previously on the page, except you are balancing on the front of your skateboard. Don't let the nose or back wheels touch the ground.

| NOLLIE
Skate forward, move your front foot toward the nose of your skateboard, then ollie by pushing down with your front foot. This trick is the same as an ollie, except kick down the opposite side of the deck first.

FAKIE OLLIE
This trick is just like an ollie, but you are traveling backwards toward what is normally the tail of your skateboard. It feels strange to roll backwards, and even weirder trying to ollie going backwards. When you trying the fakie ollie, be sure to lean forward. Remember—practice makes perfect!

FRONTSIDE OLLIE (180 OLLIE)
To do this trick, you want to lead with your back foot and swing it around in front of you. If you did it right, you will skate off smoothly in a switch position. Once you master this move, test your skills on the backside ollie. Your friends will be so impressed!

| BACKSIDE OLLIE (180 OLLIE)
Backside ollies are more difficult than frontside because you cannot spot your landing as well. It helps if you turn your head when you're in mid air. It sounds obvious, but surprisingly hard to do. Try leading with your shoulders and turning your head to spot your landing to make the trick a little easier.

| FRONTSIDE SHUVIT
This is exactly like our GripTapeTutor pop shuvit, except you spin the skateboard in the opposite 180-degree direction. For this trick, the ball of your back foot must scoop the tail forward. It is important to focus on keeping the board level.

FAKIE BIGSPIN
The most difficult part of this trick is making sure you can spin both the board 360, while doing a 180 body rotation. Practice a Half Cab to get the feel for it. If you work on those two tricks at the same time, you should get them sooner than you would have working on 1 at a time. Your front foot keeps the board level, while your back foot is the key to rotating your deck.

| HALF CAB
Be sure you have the 180 Ollie down before attempting this trick. This spins in the direction of a backside ollie, but because you do this trick in fakie position, it seems like doing a Frontside 180. Use your shoulders to help you spin. If you are comfortable riding your skateboard fakie, it may help with this trick.

| FRONTSIDE HALF CAB
In order to do this trick, you will need to skate with your opposite foot forward, move to what is now the front of the skateboard, and then do a front side 180. Be sure to turn your head to spot your landing.
